National Clearinghouse Project About
the Clearinghouse Project
In 2003, the New Social Settlement Project was awarded a grant from the Ian Potter Foundation, to establish a National Clearinghouse. The initial purpose of the Clearinghouse is as a follow up to the National Consultation Strategy the Project embarked on in late 2002. This Consultation Strategy drew on the expert input of a broad range of key players in business, unions, academia and the community sector and set about to refine and develop emerging policy approaches through a Australia-wide consultation program. This Clearinghouse will also publish working papers, be used as a point of contract around key policy issues, provide links to other groups working in the field as well as notices of conferences and other relevant information.
