Location
The Centre for
Public Policy is located on the 2nd floor, 234 Queensberry Street, Carlton.
The building is off the main University campus, closer to the centre of Melbourne,
on the corner of Leicester and Queensberry Street. The Melways map reference
is 2B D10.
By tram, we
are a short walk from Elizabeth Street (Tram 19 or 59, Stop No.8 at Queensberry
Street) and Swanston Street (all University trams 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 22,
64, 67, 72 to Stop No.4, Queensberry Street).
By train, get
off at Melbourne Central Station on the City Loop and catch any of the
aforementioned trams or take a ten-minute walk down Elizabeth Street.
Parking
On Campus Parking
Visitors are advised that parking is generally available after 5:30pm
on weeknights. A fee of $2 is payable for weeknights into the coin machines
at Monash Road (Gate 4) off Swanston Street, and Grattan Street (Gate 10).
Please note that coins are required.
University Square Carpark
Between 7am and 11pm Monday to Friday, the University Square Carpark
is open to the public. The entrance is off Berkeley Street and is $2.50 per
hour or a maximum of $7.00 all day.
Kim Lim Underground Carpark
The Kim
Lim underground carpark is the closest public car park to the venue, located
in Leicester St, Carlton (at the Victoria Street end). The maximum daily
charge is $13.20.
Short-term metered
parking is also available on both Leicester and Queensberry Streets.
