Information for 'Employers'

Interns are required to work approximately 200 hours in an organisation, usually two days per week over a 12 week semester or 4-6 weeks full time during semester break (this is negotiated between the student and the organisation).

The internship is completely unremunerated. The assessment is that students need to produce a 7000 word-equivalent project devised in conjunction with their employer of which is useful for both the student and the organisation. Students should be assigned a mentor during their internship placement, and this mentor will fill in a report upon completion of the placement.

If you have any questions about this program, please don't hesitate to contact the Internship Coordinator, Dr Lauren Rosewarne .
